Marichen Mortimer & Associates work with teams of all kind to transform them into high performance teams using her Team Building Programme.

MM&A's Team Building Programme aims to provide teams at all levels of any organisation with the necessary know-how to work together at a constructive level as well as the context in which to thrive. The programme is available to corporate, business, sport or non-profit teams as a stand-alone course or as part of a longer 3-module Advanced Team Building journey.

Team development sessions are customized to meet client needs. The sessions typically include some fun, relaxing exercises as many teams can do with some de-stressing enjoyment that tends to enhance bonding. These can range from races for the energetic, to painting, laughing or stargazing, depending on the clients' needs and guidance on relevance for the group.

Together we can do so much and while a team can be inspired by great leadership, sometimes a professional process is required to help create cohesion and unite the team behind a common goal. A team is only as strong as its individual members so consider an Employee Wellness Programme as your team development foundation.

This Team Development for Success course covers the following success factors & topics:

  • Setting the context for success
  • Building trust and respect
  • Managing diversity
  • Effective communication
  • Commitment & accountability
  • Successful conflict management
  • Achieving performance goals

The course duration depends on the level of team transformation required by the group and is typically 2 days plus group leadership coaching.

"Recommendation for Marichen Mortimer, fondly know as Kiki, for a course at BMW South Africa, for the entire team in the Customer Service. During the course of the week, Kiki presented material with such ease and humor that she set the tone for the entire workshop. Her creative ideas for presentations and activities were resourceful and interesting; they were also amazingly helpful. With participants from a variety of backgrounds, there was often conflict, and occasionally confrontation. While setting limits, Kiki managed to respond consistently with respect and compassion. The experience had a profound effect on the participants." - Dudu Khumalo, Specialist, BMW
